LATEST UPDATES
Technical Specification and BIM Object files functionality now live
We are delighted to announce the addition of the Technical Specification and BIM Object files functionality to the ETL, with benefits for purchasers, manufacturers, architects and designers as we journey to Net Zero.
Technical Specification filesprovide more detailed product information, such as size, dimensions, components, compliance certificates, installation instructions and more. These will aid purchasers when making buying decisions, so it’s of benefit for manufacturers to upload them.
BIM Object files aid in the design of buildings and spaces and are free to download on the ETL.
Manufacturers can upload Technical Specification and BIM Object files through the ETL’s manufacturers portal when making a new application. For listed products, we can add files retrospectively; contact us at info@etl.energysecurity.gov.uk for details.
