Spotlight on smart building controls, the ETL Research Programme and a new case study
This month’s edition covers the launch of the ETL’s 2025 Research Programme, advances in smart building controls, and a new case study on energy efficient refrigeration. We also highlight an exciting first for the ETL: manufacturers are now uploading technical specifications and BIM Object files to help users make more informed choices.
The ETL Research Programme is back, and we're inviting industry input to help shape evolving standards and keep pace with real world energy efficiency needs.
We also explore how smart building controls are transforming energy management by responding dynamically to building use, helping reduce emissions and costs.
Our latest case study highlights how Victor’s ETL listed refrigeration met the challenge of heat and humidity at East Riding Leisure Centre in Beverley, delivering reliable performance and energy savings. Finally, we celebrate a major step for the ETL We also mark a major step forward as manufacturers begin uploading technical specifications and BIM files, and welcome new product listings to the ETL.
