2025 in review: growth through collaboration and connection

2025 has been a year of practical impact for the ETL, helping manufacturers, specifiers and buyers engage more easily with energy efficient technologies.

Collaborations with SKArating, Eurovent and NBS, alongside engagement with trade associations and specification platforms, have expanded visibility and supported informed decision-making.

This year we welcomed over 150 new product listings while enhanced digital resources, including BIM objects and technical specifications, have made ETL listed technologies easier to access for buyers and simplified application for manufacturers.

ETL listings now displayed on NBS Source

NBS has introduced new functionality that allows ETL manufacturers to demonstrate that their products are ETL listed directly on NBS Source, with onboarding also becoming more efficient through the ETL API. If your products appear on both NBS Source and the ETL, make sure you update your NBS listings to reflect this. In the article, Dr Stephen Hamil, Innovation Director at NBS, explains how clearer ETL visibility supports better specification practice and gives manufacturers a stronger presence on procurement platforms.
